The story behind PAWRA

We are Diana and Pedro , two travelers at heart, always seeking new horizons and new experiences. Some time ago, we decided to spend three months in Portugal , a trip to discover, learn, and perhaps find new projects to undertake.

During our stay, we were struck by a reality we couldn't ignore: hundreds of stray cats lived in the streets , in towns and villages alike. Many were hungry, some were injured or sick… and every encounter broke our hearts.

One day, we decided to take action. We rescued a small, weak, and fragile kitten whom we named Luna . We cared for her, fed her, and supported her until she was fully healthy. For the past 10 months, Luna has been a part of our lives and fills our days with joy and laughter.

It was this experience that inspired us to do more, much more . For now, we feed and care for stray cats in Portugal , but we dream of expanding soon to all of Europe , and who knows, one day the whole world .

This is how PAWRA was born: a simple and practical concept where each bracelet purchased provides 10 meals for stray cats . A small gesture for us, but a big help for them. With PAWRA, we hope that every little step counts , and that, together, we can offer these cats the love, food, and care they deserve.
